I’m Karolína Derčalíková, a native Slovak interpreter and translator. In 2013, I moved abroad to study translation in Austria. Fast forward to April 2020: I graduated with a Master’s degree in Conference Interpreting, but my journey as a translator and interpreter had begun before that – I’ve been translating for both direct clients and large companies in Austria since 2017. In 2020, I stepped into the role of Project and QA Manager for a Vienna-based translation agency, which gave me a customer-centric perspective on the industry.
